Brahsome’s favorite tennis player Maria Sharapova eliminated Emilie Loit of France Wednesday in the first round of the French Open 6-3, 7-6 (4).
The gorgeous second-ranked Russian hopes this win can help her get back on track after she missed nearly two months due to a shoulder injury. Her official return was last week in Istanbul on a clay court, where she lost in the semis.
“My shoulder is still not where I want it to be. It’s still not perfect,” Sharapova said. “I don’t think I’ve had a more serious injury.”
