The Best Seven Minutes of Your Day…

by C. Brahkowski on August 28, 2007

Our loyal reader and good friend Lascone sent this to me today and I have to post it. With the all shit going on these days…from Michael Vick, to Lohan’s courageous fight to stay sober, to and Britney and KFed’s bitter custody battle…we just need to take a minute (or seven) to get our minds right. Nothing says “serenity now” like a room full of 1985’s most popular singers belting out a number penned by Michael Jackson and Lionel Ritchie, reminding us that we are, indeed, the world.

Stevie Wonder brings it big time, The Boss does his best Joe Cocker impression, a still black MJ is sporting his sparkley socks and single glove, Bobby D, Ray Charles, Huey Lewis (left the News at home), the Jackson siblings, Hall and Oates, Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, Kenny Rogers…the list goes on. Do yourself a favor and take a 7 minute break.
