Friday Fixx 8/31/07
Aug 31st, 2007 by Stamos
Friday is here again, and this is a friggin kick-ass Friday. College football is under way, we’ve got an extended weekend, and your’s truly turned 27 years young yesterday. Luckily for me, I don’t look a day over 26. Regardless, there’s gonna be some serious blackfacing this weekend as we all tailgate, watch the greatest game on earth, and then take two days to recover. Honestly, Labor Day weekend really might be the best weekend of the year. There’s no other that I can think of that affords you the privilege of seeing a great sporting season kick off while being beautiful outside and gives you time to soak it in while resting up for the rest of the year. It’s just beautiful. And for that reason, and as a birthday present to myself, I’m going with the heart for this week’s Fixx. Check her out.
There was a time in my life when I’d travel to the corners of the earth to see this band they called Phish. And honestly, that time would still be now if they hadn’t abandoned me a few years back. I even proclaimed to the future Mrs. Stamos that if they ever do come back, she can cash in the rest of my life’s birthday presents if she’ll buy my plane ticket and a front row seat. But, since that’s not happening for this birthday, I’m treating myself to a video from yesteryear. This is the song that started it all for me with tha Pheesh. I bought Hoist in 7th grade (if my memory serves me correctly) and I’ve been Down With Disease ever since. Enjoy.![]()

Me too brotha! Sorry I missed you this weekend….long live Phish.
