Attention donkey retro-gamers: Contra did NOT require “select” in any portion of “the code”. Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start.

And Mario Kart 64 could be played until your hands fell off, unlike SMK.

Obviously it’s not the “greatest video games of all time” list. It’s our favorite video games of all time then compiled into one list. And there was a bunch of stuff that was honorable mention including Mario Kart (didn’t make my list because you can only play it so long – also why I didn’t put Contra on there).
