Friday Fixx 12/21

by Stamos on December 21, 2007

Last Fixx before Christmas. Stamos already ranted his thoughts on Christmas, so we’ll spare you today. But, it will be nice to have some time away from the office.  The one great thing about Christmas is that all your childhood friends are back in town, and that means you black.  Stamos and his high school buddies have an annual bash they put on, and that’ll be tomorrow night here in the R-ball.  About 250 folks showed last year, and things got sligthly out of hand.  Everyone’s looking forward to the post party late-night Rock Band sesh over at Casa de Mos, and they won’t be disappointed.  Anywho, jump in for a great Youtuber- the water’s fine.

So I was gonna try to find a Christmas song to put here, but… no… no I wasn’t.  There just aren’t really any cool Christmas songs.  So, my backup plan was to just give myself a Christmas present.  If I could see anything live-music-wise, what would it be?  Well, there’s this band Phish you might have heard of, and Stamos loves them.  There’s this other guy Neil Young- he’s pretty nice as well.  And Stamos was in a band called Red Horizon in high school (named after Stamos’ car at the time- damn you Plymouth) and they happened to play a Neil Young song – Down By The River- at a school talent show one time.  Wouldn’t it be cool if I could combine all of those into one Youtube?

Will there be a cover charge for your late night Rock Band session?

For you, Leo, no charge. You might have to embarass yourself on the mic to Juke Box Hero, though.

Godzilla. I don’t even want to come to Raleigh for the Xmas party. Just Rock Band. It’s the only thing swaying me to make the trip.
