The Family Business

Whether you were blessed with having a family business to grow into or not, it seems to be part of the American Dream to build something tangible you can pass on to your loved ones as part of your legacy. Whether it’s a law firm, a medical practice, a real estate company, or anything else, Americans love to create and bestow wealth on family. But what if your business is rock? As long as there’s demand for rock, people gonna be slingin rock. So why not make rock a family business? Well, Henrietta Corvin Daise is way ahead of you. Unfortunately for Ms. Daise, she’s also ahead of you in the cafeteria line at the local pen, assuming you live outside Broward county in Florida. ‘Ol Granny Whitebag (note: that’s our personal pet name for her, not a name that anyone actually ever called her… at least that we know of) was busted with some blow, some baking soda, and a straw in her bra following a raid last Friday. Also arrested were several of her grandchildren, who were apparently working their way up the corporate ladder in the family biz. Well, you know what they say: if you’re too old to sling crack rock, have your grandchildren do it and make them pay you a percentage. And by ‘they’, we’re mean ‘Henrietta Corvin Daise.’
