Notre Dame Wants To Lose On Neutral Fields, Too

by C. Brahkowski on February 15, 2008

Charlie Weiss is fatIn attempt to give their coach new restaurant options and “in part to raise its profile” Notre Dame will be playing more opponents in neutral locations in the coming years. As if losing to everyone on national television every week (thanks NBC!) wasn’t enough exposure, now the Domers want to bring their shit show to a stadium near you.

On the bill so far they have a 2009 showdown with Washington State in San Antonio, a true clash of the titans with Army in Chicago in 2010, an as of yet unnamed, but probable cupcake in Orlando in 2011, and the mighty Baylor Bears in Nawlins in 2012.

The latest program picked for this experiment in mediocrity is on-the-rise Arizona State. The two schools are looking to meet in Dallas in 2013 in the new Texas Stadium, which is going to be pretty effin’ bad ass…the stadium, not the game.

Obviously, by the time any of these games are played Chu(n)ck Weiss could have either righted the ship or eaten his way out of town…but let’s hope not.
