conference basketball tourneys and March Madness (can you spot Waldo in this pic to the left?). We’re talking about the time when NCSU fans can start pumping themselves up for what will almost certainly be a disappointing football season. Don’t get us wrong- we LOVE the Pack. But part of being an NC State fan is getting your expectations high enough that regardless of what happens, you get your heart broken. That wasn’t tough in b-ball this year, what with all the pre-season #3 in the ACC talk and Gavin Grant tossing out predictions about 4 losses max. So we’ll get things started for football- Shit, if we have even a decent QB, we could be staring at 9 wins with the backfield we have and Coach O’Brien having gotten another year under his belt with that O-line…
We had our flight delayed coming back from Florida last Sunday because of inclimate weather. Where the hell is this so-called ‘inclimate weather’? We could use some here in the Norf Cackalacky, that’s for sure. My back yard is bordering on wasteland. So, it seemed appropriate for this Fixx to try to call on the April showers a few weeks early.
