Friday before Memorial Day weekend might be the worst Friday ever. Or the best, depending on how you look at it. One one hand, its the hardest day to work of the year because all you’re thinking about is how to get out of the office earlier so you can get down to dat beach, or wherever your travels are taking you. However, it’s also nice because you know as soon as you get out, you’re homefree for 3 days of debauchery. Which is nigh. However you look at it, some nice live music will help you get through. We’ve been doing the Fixx for over a year now, which means we’ve had 50+ different bands on here. And while there’s certainly more than 50 great bands out there, it starts getting tougher after a while to figure out who to go to next while remembering who you’ve had on before. One way we’ve found to make that easier is to check on who had a birthday recently, and give them the gift of being on Brahsome. This week, it’s your boy Pete Townshend, who turned 63 on Monday. And the Who is a great band to get you pumped up for a big weekend either way, so it works out well. Here’s a kickass version of Baba O’Riley.
