Shockey Traded to the Saints

Shockey
Reports are coming in that Jeremy Shockey has been shipped to the New Orleans Saints in exchange for a second- and a fifth-round draft pick in 2009. Saints’ coach Sean Peyton has been campaigning for this trade for a while, but the Giants were holding out for more…I guess those offers never came.

Ever since the Super Bowl, where Shockey was sitting up in a box getting brown with some ladies, rather than standing on the sidelines, the writing has kind of been on the wall. I have never seen that before…and the fact that it was during the Super Bowl was even more alarming. I mean, personally, I would much rather be in a box sipping some bouron with some fly looking honeys, but I don’t think that falls in line with “team player.” Then again, what the hell do I know?
