Our boys the Ghosts put together a top five list of fast food chicken sandwiches from 1996 — random as shit, I know, but really just dead on b accurate. Anyway, it got me to thinking about Wendy’s. And the Monterey Ranch Chicken Sandwich. A.K.A. the best fast food item of all time.
You remember this sandwich. It was a (spicy if you’re smart) chicken breast with lettuce, tomato, a slice of cheese and some sort of chive ranch sauce on Wendy’s standard bun. It cannot be that hard to remake. Someone has to have that GD recipe lying around Wendy’s headquarters.
Also, Wendy’s recently went through a ton of upheaval because a) Dave Thomas died, b) they tried to buy Chalupa or some mexican burrito food chain that failed and c) they decided to roll out that dude in red pigtails. Sometimes it just makes me furious that stupid people get put in charge of important things. Carry on.

You guys oughta consult both tom and his brother on this topic. I’ve almost seen fistfights break out over which menu item at Wendy’s holds the most water. Even though it is suppposedly in honor of Woody Durham, I’m sticking with the Carolina Classic.
