We’re pretty big time here at Brahsome, so we get lots of press releases. And adult friend finder notifications. 5′10″, 360 l-b-s and a local Raleigh lady? Hells to the yeah. Anywho, I digress. One of the ones we’ve gotten recently is about Blitz II: The League, which I think is like NFL Blitz (makes sense) the video game.
Basically, it’s as realistic as that Playmakers show on ESPN and you beat the tar out of people. But this year, added celebrities! (Term being used looser than aforementioned adult friend.)
Superstar comedian and celebrity impersonator, Frank Caliendo, and Hollywood A-lister and former host of Last Comic Standing, Jay Mohr, contribute their acting skills and over-the-top adult humor to both the script and the production of Blitz: The League II.
I absolutely love the fact that Caliendo can’t qualify for “A-lister” and Mohr’s not actually a “comic”.
The crazy thing is that if you google “Jay Mohr Frank Caliendo” you see all these batshit insane words like “top Hollywood talent”, “funny” and “not totally fucking miserable in all facets of life.” Which just seems a touch inaccurate to me.
Either way, I think it’s probably best to avoid this game if these two clowns are going to be providing the background noises; there’s really no reason to punch your XBox because it keeps talking in a semi-decent Dubya accent. Not saying I won’t take a free copy, just saying I’m skeptical is all.
