Our readers in Chi-Town and Brahston and Brahshington, DC and and any of the great cities on the left coast might take offense to this, but NYC is the best city around.  There’s always something going on.  You can cross one street and go from Italy to China.  You can cross another st, and watch your rent go from 1800 to 3200.  Stamos had the pleasure of kicking it in the Apple all week with friends and family and just a dab of actual work.  But that ‘dab’ or real work meant hundreds and hundreds of dollars of monopoly money on the corporate card got tossed around.  You know the only real downside to NYC, though?  It’s such a cash heavy town. Katz’ Deli (the best pastrami on rye on earth) and the Corner Bistro (best hamburger in the city, by far) are both straight cash.  Can a guy spend some fake money around here?  Anywho, there once was a great club in NYC, and we’ve got a clip from the house band after the jump.

CBGB’s is legendary.  GnR, Chili Peppers, The Police, The Ramones – a ton of great bands graced the stage at CBGB’s (name being an acronym for Country, Blue Grass, and Blues- nice little trivia) down in the lower east side between it’s opening in 1973, and it’s last concert in October 2006.  Can you imagine stumbling down Bleecker St back in the late 70s and turing the corner at Bowery only to hear some random house band playing at this small club.  And then you poke your head inside and see this…

Stamos, I couldn’t agree more. I am a HUGE fan of Katz’s…so is Warren Haynes..he goes quite often..I have also enjoyed a burger at Corner Bistro…I went back last time I was there and the line was so long I had to go elsewhere. I am a huge fan of John’s Pizza on Bleeker, Lombardi’s in Little Italy, and Arturo’s on Houston…as far as pizza goes in the city. You can also easily find “fun” and it can even be delivered! haha

Forgot to mention Lombardi’s- it was like a block from where I stayed up there. Awesome.
