On the same day Dallas loses a man on the defensive side of the ball, Jerry Jones makes a move to add a threat to the offense.
Reports are surfacing that a deal is being worked on to send my boy Roy Williams (WR, Lions) to the Dallas Cowboys for an undisclosed number of draft picks.
Williams has expressed unhappiness about playing for the bunk ass Lions and would become a free agent at the end of the season if the Lions don’t place the franchise tag on him.
Early reports were that Detriot was hesitant because they’re working without a GM, since they gave Matt Millen his walking papers. Apparently Millen was in discussions with the Cowboys about the Williams trade prior to being shown the door.
I consider this great news. No one wants to waste their whole career in Detroit. Even having Brad Johnson getting you the rock has to sound better than spending any more time playing for that shit show of a franchise.
Bring my boy home to Texas, Jerrah Jones!
UPDATE: Apparently it’s official. Dallas traded first-, third- and sixth-round draft picks to Detroit. Whoa. Pizza delivery guys all over Detroit are smiling right now.
