NC State Opens Men’s Basketball Practice to the Public

by The Piler on October 17, 2008

If you are a Pack fan and in the Raleigh area tomorrow, Coach Sidney Lowe is opening up basketball practice to the public from 12:00 to 2:00 at Reynolds Gymnasium.  In attendance will be John Wall and Derrick Favors who are the number one ranked point guard and center, respectively, for the prep class of 2009 according to Scout.com.  It’s a large recruiting weekend to say the least.  If you’re like me and your athletic supporting life is in the hands of a few teenagers, then come out and let them know how much they are wanted by NC State.

Ha! I can’t believe State actually thinks they have a shot at either Wall or Favors. Why would these elite recruits want to spend their required year in college wallowing in mediocrity?
