Top Gun Pilot Milton Torres: Bogey was a UFO

UFO Welcome Center
You might remember our story from this past summer of a former NASA astronaut who came forward with a claim that aliens and UFOs not only exist, but they have visited our humble little planet many, many times. Now there are others coming forward, too.

Former Top Gun pilot Milton Torres has come forward with a story of his own.

In 1957, when Torres was a 26 year-old U.S. Air Force lieutenant based at RAF Manston in Kent, England he was ordered to get into his F-86D Sabre fighter and take down a bogey that was hovering over Norfolk.

RAF controllers told U.S. pilot Milton Torres to “lock on” and launch all 24 of his rockets over the city.

But as he came within seconds of firing at the alien intruder — “the size of an aircraft carrier” on his radar — it vanished at 10,000 mph.

The amazing close encounter is revealed in secret Ministry of Defense X-Files which are being declassified Monday.

Milton said, “It was some kind of alien snooping over England. I guess we’ll never know what it was.”

Mr. Torres says that after the incident, he was visited by security official in a trenchcoat and warned never to tell anyone.

Details of the close encounter are in 19 files made available online yesterday by the National Archives.
