Heels and Horns Lead In ‘09 BBall Recruiting

Ashely Judd Kentucky BasketballYesterday (November 12) the early signing period began for high school and junior college basketball recruits, meaning it was the first day that these young men could throw their Herbie Hancocks on the National Letters of Intent, locking them in to play for the universities of their choice.

For the second time in three years UNC is atop Rivals’ list. The Texas Longhorns are sitting at number two, with Villanova, Kansas, and Florida rounding out the top 5.

The early signing period ends at midnight on Wednesday, November 19.
