Dane Cook sucks. Badly. His humor is lame, his jokes are stale, and it’s a poor reflection on an already poorly reflected society that people not only find him amusing, but that they somehow made him a fucking millionaire.
Fortunately, he’s a little less rich now, because his brother, Darryl McCauley, just stole millions from him.
Talk about keeping it in the family — sources tell TMZ Dane Cook’s brother (who was also his business manager) has been arrested for allegedly stealing millions from the comedian.Darryl McCauley — who was in charge of Cook’s financial affairs since the 90s — was arrested today by the Massachusetts State Police and charged with three counts of larceny and forgery.
Authorities say in one case, Dane’s bro forged a $3 million check and deposited it in his account.
That’s right. His brother, his own flesh and blood, likely finds him so reprehensible that he thought the only way to redeem working for Dane and making him rich was to steal money from him and in turn, give it to charity. Or he just needed to pay off his bookie. Regardless, the next round of Brahsome Bombs are pointed skyward in your direction, Darryl, or whoever is willing to accept $34.50 to break Dane Cook’s leg. That would be fine too.
