Does it make me a freakshow that I go to sleep at night watching the only three season of Arrested Development? Well, perhaps. But I don’t care. It fuels my bloggy sarcasm, so, um, yeah, it’s pretty, uh, important that I watch the show over and over again. Anyway, that’s not the point. the point is that there’s an Arrested Development Movie coming and we should all rejoice.
Yes, that’s right. ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT MOVIE. Which means, of course, that apparent douchebag Michael Cera has finally signed off on the movie, despite the fact that he thinks he’s super awesome. So says E!
Inside sources close to the negotiations of the upcoming Arrested Development movie tell me that Superbad and Juno star (and before that, hello, George-Michael Bluth!) Michael Cera has finally agreed to do the feature film project.
There’s no real reason to get all “WHAT THE F*** WAS CERA THINKING???” here, because, frankly, he’s great. He was awesome as GM and he’s been fantastic playing himself: a self-conscious, scared little teenager. Kudos to making it work across the board.
What’s more important is getting this puppy up and running, and reports are stating that it might be done by the end of 2009. SEAL. THE. DEAL.

I need to change pants….btw, I’ve heard that the whole Cera holding out thing was staged and/or blown out of proportion and he’s been on board since day 1. Why not create controversy with the kid who had the largest career boost after the show? Get’s all those kids to hear about it and interested.
