Yesterday slipped right by without me giving some much deserved dap to my boy, Texas right-hander Brandon Workman, who threw a no-hitter on Sunday afternoon as the Horns took down Penn State 9-0, improving the Longhorns’ overall record to 9-0.
Workman faced the minimum 27 batters en route to the school’s 21st no-hitter. It was catcher Cameron Rupp’s second time to catch a no-no during his career at Texas.
That’s nice work, boys.
