Sexy lingerie is awesome. “Practical” sexy lingerie — to the extent that it exists, if it even does — is even better. (I’m trying to imagine some sort of lingerie that involves a cupholder or a remote or a pillow for nesting or well, yeah I’ll just stop now.) But I can’t say I get the “Nice Cup in Bra” made by Triumph for Japanese women.
That’s mainly because it is some sort of combination of a bra and a putting green. I know, right? It makes little sense — especially when you see the picture and realize how long it is.
Members of the fairway sex who buy one need not worry that they’re going to be the putt of the joke. They’ll have the last laugh when envious golfing enthusiasts see how the green corset-style garments unroll to make a 1.5m putting mat.
Again, look, I’m all for sexy unds and what not, and honestly, I have no problem with boring underwear under certain circumstances, but how the hell can this work? It unfolds to be FOUR FEET LONG!
And it has a built in speaker that lets out a cheer every time you make a putt, which leads me to another point: you always have to have a golf club with you for this to work, no? Which means that if you’re not at your house, the office or golf course, you’re wandering around with a putter, which means you look weird enough before you start taking off your shirt and unraveling your bra to knock balls around on it.
Granted, the entire concept of the shape makes total sense for a putting green and if this leads to more women randomly undressing so they can start putting topless across the world then, well, hell yeah, let’s make it happen. But I’m just having trouble fathoming how this works out for anyone.
