‘Two Worlds Collide’ Is Saturday Night Live’s Best Effort in a While

by Brinson on November 23, 2009

After a miserable attempt with January Jones two weeks ago, I wasn’t expecting a lot out of SNL (which is pretty much par for the course these days, even if I still watch). Which is why I was more than pleasantly surprised by ‘Two Worlds Collide’ (a.k.a. ‘I’m Reba!’), a digital short in which Andy Samberg raps with the dude from Goodburger (who oddly enough, is one of LeBron James’ good friends) dressed as ‘Reba’.

It’s pretty raw — the words “fucking,” “pussy,” “cock,” and “nuts” are all a part of the song — but it’s also funny as hell. Too bad Samberg will bolt SNL to do B-List movies within the next six years, because at this point, he’s the only redeemable quality to the show.

Andy Samberg is by far the funniest thing on SNL.
