Some of you may have seen our story yesterday of a young couple in love that decided to celebrate their nuptials in a unique fashion. They had a costume wedding outside of AdventureCon in Knoxville, Tennessee. We made fun them. Their friends were offended. We said if they could produce pictures of a hot girl who attended the wedding, we would retract our story. We’re here to take our medicine.
Of the 20 or so posts, most were bravely authored anonymously. Only “angi”, “summer”, and “jc” had the guts to assign a name to their posts. They were angry. They were fiesty. They called us names (freaks, fanboys) and suggested we were immature (we don’t dispute this).
What caught our attention was when Summer told us she not only attended the wedding, but did so in a Leia slave outfit and “looks damn hot in it.” We offered her a deal. If she could prove that she truly does own and wear this outfit, and looks damn hot in it, we would apologize.
Well…apparently it’s true. While she’s no Carrie Fisher, we at Brahsome.com have to admit she is much better looking than we thought she would be. They just don’t grow dorks that look like that where we come from.
When we first read “I’ll be brutally honest and admit that I watched it [ROTJ] for the first time in January of 2005″ in Summer’s profile we thought we might have a hot, poser imposter on our hands. But then we read that she was down with TMNT…and we totally back that shit.
So Mr. and Mrs. Jonathon Wallock, we hereby apologize for making fun of your goofy wedding. While we probably won’t be planning a He-Man and She-Ra wedding, we will respect your decision to celebrate your love how ever you like.
As for Ms. Summer…do you do birthday parties?

In case you’re wondering, the title was changed because this is not a retraction. It is an apology.
The Star Wars themed wedding between two Earthlings somewhere in Tennessee still actually took place, we, because of the [shocking] hotness of Summer, have changed our “effing dorks” stance and apologize for any insults.
For the record though, these people: http://www.flickr.com/photos/michiyoemi/sets/72157600302037729/
who posted pictures of the wedding online, state that “We are dorks. Our friends are dorks.” Just pointing it out is all.
No one from the 501st is willing to show up and accept our brahpology? So weak.
Does Summer even know she’s solely responsible for our change of heart?
On behalf of my friends, apology accepted.
By the way, there are a lot of beautiful women in the star wars fandom. Take a stroll through that metalbikini website or google femtrooper and you’ll see.
Thanks for coming back, Summer.
We did stroll through the metalbikini site and you were the best of the bunch. I’ll just take your word for it as far as femtroopers go.
I have nominated you as the first ever member of the Brahsome.com Hall of Fame. Not for your looks, but for your courage and loyalty to your friends.
Keep up the good work.
May the force be with you.
One of life’s truly great questions-”Who is the bigger freak, the freak that follows their heart or the freak that has nothing to do but blog about it?” You people are cowards for bowing down to a bunch of math club skanks. Grow some balls these hags are fugly and need to go back to giving handjobs to guys dressed up like Han Solo in the bathrooms of convention centers. Signed, Aaron C. Whitehead MAN
Bowing down? We’re being men of our word. We said if there were pics of Summer looking nice we’d apologize. There were, so we did. We’d recommend you go please yourself sexually, Aaron.
