Despite not having made a movie worth a shit since…um…well…Blue Chips was pretty entertaining, right? Okay..since 1994, Nolte has still managed to get his name in the papers occasionally.
Normally the picture is taken by Mr. Nolte’s local law enforcement and shows him in some sort of altered state…well today Johnny Law wasn’t involved, but it certainly appears that he was in an altered state. Check out the pictures travelers were taking of Nolte at Kauai Airport after his flight was delayed a few hours (courtesy of TMZ.com). I think it’s safe to say Nolte popped a few Valiums or Xanax with his pre-flight cocktails.

I went to a preview screening of the godawful Breakfast of Champions film, and Nolte and the director were there to answer questions after. Nolte walked up with a concession stand cup of Pepsi, sipping out of it with a straw…at one point the director leaned over and took a pull and gasped, spitting it out. Nolte laughed and said something like, “Bet you didn’t expect that to be straight vodka, did you?”
Ha. That’s pretty solid. I make fun of his movies, but at least the guy knows how to party like he’s a movie star.
