In Pennsylvania, an employee of Pepsi allegedly beat up a Coke representative in the parking lot of the local Wal-Mart. Apparently, the argument started over what shelf space to which each was entitled. We’re thinking the conversation went something like this:
Pepsi Guy: Pardon me, sir, but I believe that space is reserved for our Pepsi products.
Coke Guy: You may be correct, but we feel Coke would be better suited for this shelf space.
Pepsi Guy: We may be able to work something out where we share this space, but we’ll also have to share the expenses.
Coke Guy: I appreciate the offer, but respectfully decline.
Pepsi Guy: Well, all due respect, but it wasn’t really an offer. It was more of a demand.
Coke Guy: Sure, I understand. But I’m simply not willing to spend extra for this space.
And then it turned into something like this.
