Leading the “I’ve Made a Huge Tiny Mistake” category for today? Duane “Dog” Chapman, or most likely known to you (and us) as “Dog the Bounty Hunter”. You see, Dog, it turns out, is a teensy bit racist. Well, he says he’s not, but we’re guessing the slew of N-bombs he dropped in an ironically private phone conversation kind of outweigh his personal testimony.
It’s not because she’s black. It’s because we use the word n—– sometimes here. I’m not going to take a chance in life of losing everything I’ve worked for 30 years because some f—— n—– heard us say ‘n—–’ and turned us into ‘Enquirer’ Magazine. Our career is over. I’m not taking that chance at all.”
Well then Dog. Perhaps you should have considered not actually doing what you said you weren’t going to do because it could cost you your career. Apparently he was referring to his son’s girlfriend, and has now stated that he disapproved of their friendship because of the quality of her character, not the color of her skin. Riiiiiiight.
Now, we’re not ones to go all conspiracy theory on stuff like this, but isn’t it really, really, really odd (or at least uber-ironic) that he got busted saying what he did in a private phone conversation that got turned over to a gossip magazine? Is there any chance this is a publicity stunt, albeit one that backfired? Haven’t people cooled significantly on DtBH over the last year? All questions that may forever go unanswered.
A&E has suspended production of Dog the Bounty Hunter. Obviously.

Dat Dawg is the most popular show on A&E (granted it is A&E, but still). I doubt it was a publicity stunt.
The question is how could his son rat him out like this – taping the call and leaking it?
i have always watched dog and he has always helped people. i think he can say whatever he wants to say, cuz he’s an american.”freedom of speech” ever hear of it?
