LavinBurger Love Them Some Erin Andrews

Okay. There is a lot going on in this video. To recap, Brent tosses it to Erin, Erin starts report while Wisconsin fans start an “Er-in An-drews!” chant in the background. Erin smiles and tosses it back. Which was cool. And funny. Then Steve and Brent decided to make it awkward. Bigger than Elvis and the Beatles, Steve? We get that it’s hyperbole, but if the Cialis isn’t working there are probably plenty of Baby Boomers willing to argue. But fine, whatever. She’s smoke, we know. That doesn’t mean that when Steve makes a joke about them carrying her bags Jimmy Gel and his drunk uncle have to start talking about her “guns”, workout habits and going to the Playboy Mansion with her.
Apropos of nothing, is anyone else bothered by the fact that Steve Lavin is always trying to sound like Bill Raftery? We want more people to be like the Raf, but just not Lavin. Something about him bothers us.

Agreed..Erin Andrews is smoke..Raftery is the man…and Lavin is a joke. I still can’t believe he was once a candidate for the wolfpack job.
No kidding. And much like the rest of the head coaching corps in America, we probably landed him a raise too. I would rather have landed Dave Odom over Lavin.
These old dudes are hyperventilating more than Joe Buck during the Cowboys/Eagles Jessica Simpson game or a John McCain at one of his campaign rallies.
I’m sorry, but I really like Lavin AS AN ANNOUNCER. Now, if Indiana (my alma mater) wanted to hire him I’d worry…but as an announcer he’s fine. I did find it funny you mentioned Raftery. He’s bar none the best college bkball color man there is.
So do you really hate Lavin as an announcer?
And yes, Erin does rule.
Ok, now I actually watched the video and I’m more convinced you are overreacting.
Although Brent’s “alright, here we go…” at the end was hilarious. It was kind of a “the boss is back so let’s quit fucking around” type statements.
Good call. That ending is f’ing hilarious. You put it like I meant too before I went off on the Raf tangent. Onions!
