Friday Fixx 1/11

Wanna know something? We realized the other day that the Friday Fixx is our longest running regular feature here on Brahsome.com. We’ve had some that came and went (SMEAR, Sitting Here In Limbo, Lock Jahbs), we’ve had some that were hot and are around, but took long haituseseses (Hot Box), we’ve had some that have been around almost as long, but went through name changes later (Aural Sex), and some that we’ve only more recently started (These Go To Eleven, Morning Wood) . But at the end of the day, the Fixx was first run on the 2nd day of Brahsome’s existance, and has come through for you on Fridays ever since. Granted, it didn’t take the name Friday Fixx for a few weeks, but it’s loved you and you’ve loved it since Brahsome was born. So, let’s see what she’s got in store for you this week.
PS- If you’re looking for the connection to Malin Ackerman (pictured above) you can stop. There is none. We just love her, and she hadn’t graced the pages of Brahsome in too long. You’re welcome.
So we got an e-mail from our boy Big Tom about the Fixx. Tom, you see, is a big music guy. You might call him a ‘head’ or a ‘tour kid’ or ‘that guy who got us too effed up last time at the show.’ But, to us, he’s just Big Tom. And Big Tim was upset that he hadn’t seen any Government Mule on the Fixx. Well guess what, Big Tom. Today’s your lucky day. And just to spice it up (assuming that’s OK with you), we thought we’d toss Victor Wooten and Bernie Worrell in the mix just for fun. Enjoy.

Niiiice! Mule rips it up like no one else out there these days. Big Tom has seen close to 100 shows..most recently, the “winter of love” nye show at the beacon where they played for almost 5 hours. If you haven’t seen that setlist..take a look at it and then get started downloading the show off of muletracks..or just get Tom to send it to you…epic is the word of choice.
OH HELL YEA!!! I think that now makes me want to go to Capital Ale House and get really drunk! Thanks Stamos! I was actually 7 rows back in that video you posted with Bernie and VIC-TAH! 5-3-03 - New Orleans, LA…gotta love Jazz Fest! Have a great weekend brahs! I am going to get nice!
What do I have to do to get Tom to send it to me? I’ll give him a free Brahsome hat or something if he mails it to me. I just hate dealing with downloading. Unless it’s legal.

All you gotta do is ask and T he will ablige…he has a scary amount of music on multiple hard drives which can be sent via yahoo messenger, etc. You need to get that show from 03 and the most recent nye show at the beacon…
By the way, as a side product of T sending you guys a show or 5…can I get a few of the “care to get nice” stickers that I ordered and didn’t get with my “I get nice” hat?!?!?

Really? Damn I just assumed they would be in the same box as the hat and when you brought the hat to me at the Xmas jam I didnt see them. You need to get the vrip tech back working and slap a sticker on there.
