MW: All Star Weekend

by Brinson on February 18, 2008

Okay, I really have much more to say about the All Star game, including, but not limited to Dwight Howard’s arrival, Chris Paul continuing to be underrated, Deron Williams being the biggest snub of all, where the hell was Josh Smith all freaking weekend long, Jason Kapono is the Canadian ice man, among some other things. Instead, because I have a ton of work to do, I am going to pelter you with YouTubes from this weekend. But, if you are interested in reading, my colleague at FanHouse, Tom Ziller, has a spectacular column about what we can learn from All Star Weekend up right now, that you should absolutely check out.

For Reggie Miller, the top of the key is apparently known as the “titty”. Probably not a player-born euphemism that should have carried over into announcing, Reg.

It was good to see a little creativity back in the dunk contest.

I still say Nike or maybe a group of sponsers should put a million dollars on the contest and let the fans vote in the participants. A million bucks would certainly get the likes of Vince, Lebron, Kobe, etc. out there. For the ones that actually realize they have more money than God, they could always just donate the purse to charity.

I agree, where was the JSmooth at? He is the biggest stat filler upper in the league, ask any NBA fantasy geek. Plus he is angry and wants to win at all costs. I like that.
