If you’re reading this on the east coast, you’re cold and wet. Nothing worse than the weekend showing up and it being miserable outside. Well, maybe it’s worse if it’s miserable outside and it’s a Tuesday. At least this way you can cozy up in your favorite slanket and ride out the storm. Anywho, jump down for this week’s lovely live music clip.
Stamos, Brahkowski, and a couple of other brahs are headed down to Nawleans for the weekend to celebrate the death of Singlemos. There may not be a town full of more debaucherous possibilities than NOLA, and we plan to exhaust them all. Harrah’s, Patty Os, Mother’s, Cafe du Monde, every titty bar in a 5 mile radius- we’ll see them all. And Tipitina’s, of course. In fact, we’ll be there tonight getting nice with the North Mississippi Allstars. Hopefully Luther and the boys will help us get the weekend started off right. Here’s a taste of what we’ll be enjoying tonight. Wish us luck…

have a blast. I am a Tips and NOLA vetern logging in at around 2months time spent there seeing music over the last 7-8 years. Mother’s! Man I want some…a Famous Ferdi Special with Debris…maybe some red beans and rice and some shrimp creole! Man I miss that place!
In fact..one of my favorite nights was when I went to NMAS w/Dickey Betts at Tips…except for Dickey was late..so DEREK TRUCKS played the first set..Dickey joined in around 2am, and Johnny Neel was on keys too…Set 3 began around 4:30-5am…it was an insane night..I left early and caught Deep Banana Blackout at Howlin’ Wolf before I staggered to the Hotel Monaco
