Rage and Wilco Rumored for Lollapalooza
Mar 19th, 2008 by Brinson

Excuse us while we clean the mess off of our keyboard. It appears, via of course a rumor only (and thanks to Bronce for the tip), that Rage Against the Machine and Wilco could be in line to play Lollapalooza this year. Other bands that have been rumored, according to Jim Derogatis’ blog are Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead.
If Chicago pulls down all four of those bands, you can expect to see us cavorting around Soldier Field during the first weekend of August. Ironically, we were actually in Chicago the weekend of Lolla last year but didn’t make it down, even though the Chili Pepps were the headliners. Mainly because they suck since they started covering Tom Petty.
Anywho, if you’re in the Chicago area and would like to house us (looking at you Moose!!!) for the first weekend in August should this go down, feel free to holler. Rally round the family indeed.

Yo Dude. IN anyways, but I might have a place for Brahs.
Man, I will have to go to that as well if it happens. I have a good friend that just moved to Chi-town. After those 2 Wilco shows I went to at 9:30 Club, I am all Wilco, all the time.
I’ve heard those 9:30 shows…and they would make a believer out of anyone. good shit.
Here, here on the 9:30 shows. The Sunken Treasure at the beginning makes me feel not like a sarcastic prick and I actually air guitared for the Monday at the end while listening in my room at home. And by air guitar, I mean picked up my rock band guitar and jammed out like I was a 12 year old.
