After receiving complaints of inappropriate content for children, a Venezuelan television station has pulled The Simpsons from their 11am spot and replaced it with Baywatch.
Elba Guillen, a spokeswoman for the station, offered the following explanation: “”It had to be taken off. They consider it to be a series that isn’t appropriate for that time because it isn’t appropriate for children.”
When asked to comment on the station taking away their morning cartoon and replacing it with lifeguards with fake taters, most children simply replied “boobies!”
At least their English is good.
