James McMurtry: Just Us Kids

The amazing and vastly underrated singer/songwriter James McMurtry has unleashed another album for the unwashed masses entitled “Just Us Kids.”
For the Austin folks, tonight is round two of a two night CD release party at the Continental Club on South Congress.
I haven’t had a chance to get my hands on it yet, but here is the Austin Chronicle’s review.

Went to last nights show. with Alejandro as the opener. Great as usual. The Continental was packed. James brought it, as always.
Aside, Springsteen had Alejandro on stage Monday in Houston. Youtube it before Bruce puts it on his website. Good stuff.
