[Never Going Back to My] Old School Steely Dan

Via the Golden Fiddle, this is a pretty sweet live cut of Steely pulling “Reelin’ in the Years”. Not to mention the sweet-a introduction from Mr. Jell-o Pudd-in.

It’s good to know that the band hasn’t aged much since then.

Thanks for the blast from the past. It was a simpler time when it was all about the music and less about the overprocessed teenagers in the studio.

I have been researching Steely Dan to find out more about them (beyond their hits) since finding out that a number of musicians who played for the band contributed to every song on Clay Aiken’s new CD.
