The ashes of former Nirvana star Kurt Cobain have been stolen from Courtney Love’s house. Love kept the ashes in a pink teddy-bear-shaped bag, which also contained a lock of his hair.
“I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me. I find it disgusting and right now I’m suicidal. If I don’t get them back I don’t know what I’ll do,” said Love.
She continued, “They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again.”
Who steals ashes? I mean, really. What’s the plan now that you’ve got a sweet, pink teddy bear bag and some ashes of a dead guy? There has to be a plan. I mean you don’t break into Courtney Love’s house expecting there to be anything of real value, right? I’m guessing the only items in her house beside that pink bag were probably a moldy matteress and a few empty boxes of Mac and Cheese. And spoons. Plenty of spoons.
