Via Big League Stew comes this clip of Rick Sutcliffe and Dave O’Brien engaging in a little booth to sideline commentary with Erin Andrews (I missed all of this because I was watching Fox SS in NON HD, ahem, Time Warner). Note the look on DOB’s face after Sutcliffe mentions the Windy City and batting practice.
I know he’s got cancer, but s it really okay to be saying stuff like that on air? He’s winning the battle anyway (he’s in the freaking announcing booth after all) so it’s tough to feel too sorry for him.
