Well. Thank goodness for Kevin Garnett and his post game celebration on camera. Because without it, that was a pretty freaking clinical final game of the 2007-08. The clip is nearly five minutes long, but I wouldn’t recommend skipping any of it. KG runs the gamete of tears, screams, craziness, shout-outs and then wraps up by asking Bill Russell where he should go tonight. It’s as if all that pent up anger from being in Minnesota for so long just released itself in one primal post game scream.
Oh, and he also confirms that he is in fact “certified” and then tells Michelle Tafoya that she “looks good tonight”. Awkward.
And yes, that was a Steve Irwin-like performance by Tafoya there.

KG and Tafoya go way back to Minnesota when she was the local sideline reporter and he was the kid who broke the high school-NBA barrier

Yea, it was freakin’ awesome. I am a lifelong C’s fan who watched every game the last few years even on NBA league pass…My first title celebration since ATL Braves in 1995..not counting Hurricanes Stanley Cup.
