Have you ever thought about what the difference is between growing a beard and wearing a beard?  Stamos and his brother had a long conversation about this a couple years back, but never really came to any conclusion.  Seems like wearing a beard would be that guy who consistantly grooms said beard- keeping it looking professional and well kempt (see picture on left).  Growing a beard might be that guy who just lets the beard do it’s own thing- really get after it (see picture on right).  It’s like when you’re undergrad, you can grow a beard.  Once you’re corporate, you have to wear it.  Unless you’re Brahkowski, who somehow gets away with simply growing a beard for days at a time only to trim it back to whiskers, but not actually ever shave.  Either way, we can all agree that beards are where it’s at.  Chris Cooley also agrees, which is why he’s holding his first (possibly annual) beard contest.  Rules can be found on his blog.  If you win the contest, you’ll have the privilege of doing an interview with Chris Cooley and donating it to Brahsome for little to no recognition- Hooray!!!
