Another weekend, another pool party. It’s not a bad life being a brah. A little binge drinking, some lounging in the sun, maybe a vomit sneak or two- all in good fun.
Look, let’s be honest. We’ve got no good intro here. It’s noon on Friday, and we can’t think about anything besides drinking. If you want to listen to a nice little live music clip to get your weekend kicked off right, click the jump. If not, here’s a dollar twenty five.
In keeping with the ‘who’s birthday is it this week to give me an idea of someone I could put on the Fixx that everyone likes but that we haven’t had in the 50-some-odd Fixes we’ve had on this blog’ trend, we bring you this week’s guest of honor, Stewart Copeland. Famous first for his work with the Police, Copeland is one of the all time great drummers. So when, a few years back, he teamed up with Trey and Claypool, one of the few modern day superbands was formed. It’s the closest thing we’ve seen to Cream or the Yardbirds in 30 years, and it kicked ass. Enjoy.

I would like to say that Old School Gov’t Mule is closer to Cream or the Yardbirds than Oysterhead. Nevertheless, they were awesome as well.
Fair enough, T.
I’d be willing to bet Tom Whitt wrote that first comment
Tommy Boy – I hear Hess might be out of dat Mule…what’s the chatter amongst the uber fans such as yourself?
