Once again, Stamos is too busy to pull the Friday Fixx so today it falls into the hands of your humble author. I don’t mind. Really. Blahging makes the minutes tick off the clock all that much faster…and it’s a Friday, so the minutes have been ticking along at the pace of Paris Hilton working a sudoku. ::pause for laughter::
I posted a highlight video of Black Jebus earlier, so, since it’s in my hands, I’ll keep the Texas vibe flowing today in dat Fixx.
I fucking love the old outlaw country stuff and no one did it better than the Highwaymen. They were the very definition of “super group.” Just a bunch of good ol’ boys who were some of the finest song writers of this or any generation…a few of the tunes could bring you to your knees and a few others could cause you to throw a whisky bottle across the room. Sometimes it was the same damn song.
I realize there’s a very good chance that I’ve pulled the Highwaymen on a substitute Fixx before, but I don’t remember…and it’s like I always tell my ladies…if you don’t remember, it doesn’t count.
