Or perhaps Tom Brady would be more accurate. But I think that Phelps is similar to LaBoof — whose name I am purposely misspelling because Transformers was the biggest GD joke of this century — in that he might be surprisingly funny when he hosts Saturday Night Live during the premiere.
Of course, I’m the only Brinson who feels that way, apparently, as the Observation Bubble doesn’t think there’s gonna be a whole lot of making with the funny when Phelps appears on NBC. But that’s not stopping them from making some pretty solid predictions as to what kind of skits he might pulling.

Well, actually the hot tub probably ain’t happening, but I can totally see the first two.
Personally, I see this as a pretty tremendous coup for SNL, which in my humble opinion, has been getting significantly better over recent seasons. Of course, that could be my awkward obsession with Amy Poehler, but Bill Hader being one of the funniest people on the planet doesn’t hurt things either.
