Former Kansas Jayhawks and current NBA rookies, Mario Chalmers and Darrell Arthur were sent home from the NBA’s rookie transition program for smokin’ some of that pot grass and partying with some ladies in their hotel room. Visitors are not allowed at the program. Pot grass isn’t really allowed anywhere.
Both players will have to repeat the program next year, much like Brinson did in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th and 9th grades.
They were each fined $20,000 and will begin their rookie seasons suspended. So far so good, fellas!
Chalmers is the cat who reached deity status in Lawrence, Kansas last spring by draining that epic, game tying three pointer against Memphis during March Madness. I hate both of those teams.
