DeAndre Morgan Gets Nice on Bill & Mary

by The Piler on September 8, 2008

There aren’t many great things going right for the Pack these days. There was the drubbing on National TV last weekend in Columbia, which might be one of the biggest shitholes I have ever been to, at the hands of the Ole Ball Coach. Injuries to our starting Quarterback, Tailback, Wide Receiver, safety, top two tight ends, and our former starting tailback aren’t exactly helping the situation. Our fourth string quarterback from fall camp had to come off the bench to lead us to a win over the might I-AA William and Mary Tribe. A road game at Clemson this weekend where we are ‘dogs by 18.5, before coming home to face our hated rival ECU, which may be the hottest team in the country. You get the picture.

Despite this comedy of errors, the Pack’s D is laying wood. Nate Irving is playing like an All American, boasting 23 tackles, with 3.5 tackles for a loss of ten yards, 2 interceptions and 1 fumble recovery through two games. In Saturday’s game, cornerback DeAndre Morgan absolutely blew up a Tribe receiver. Check out Morgan’s hit in the the video above, along with a few other highlights from the Pack’s home opener.
