This was friggin’ ridiculous. Biggest win in the last decade and they don’t let fans rush the field? I mean come on, wtf? When Skip was giving his interview there was some huge black sheriff tossing kids left and right. Bullshit I say. An unranked team beats a top ten and people are rushing the field. They ought to just let it happen and defend the goalposts.
Is it not understood that if a school tells you repeatedly not to rush the field, and you are one of the first people to rush the field, your getting your ass kicked? What did the dumb fucks think was going to happen? They just did a favor for all the “smart” kids (not literal, they do go to ECU) who waited to rush the field.
If they fire or punish these cops, how do they plan on finding anyone on earth who would work ECU games as a security guard?

The problem with the cops in and around Greenville is that the only way that they know how to get a handle on an out-of-control situation is to use tear gas. I lived in Greenville for 5 years and saw it used way too much. The dumb redneck cop from the Lenoir County Sheriff’s office that was punching something on ESPN is exactly that…a dumb redneck who is more than likely a graduate of NCSU and has it out for ECU’s students because he is still trying to hold onto the Rivers’ era…
