Phish Is Back
Those sassy bastards from Vermont announced this morning that they are, indeed, coming back.

Sickwich.

I’m not going to post a lot of jibber jabber here. You know the boys of brahsome are stoked. We know you’re stoked. Let’s just assume we’re all going to get tickets and we’ll all be gettin’ nice in Virginia when March rolls around.

Cheers, bitches.

So, i see the sell out band is making a come back? Unless their concerts are free they will be nothing but a bunch of worthless modern day CASH driven bitches. After all I recall they stated they would never tour again just for money!

looks like a Panic fan that hates all other music is commenting again.

If you aren’t stoked, you aren’t ALIVE. my hotel rooms are now booked. It’s on like Donkey Kong!

Stamos October 1, 2008 at 11:52 am

They aren’t touring again just for money- they’re touring again just for ME!!!!!

Bronce October 1, 2008 at 11:59 am

Already got my hotel .4 miles from the spaceship. See ya in Hampton!

Matt October 1, 2008 at 12:30 pm

Just ordered my tickets. Grew up in Virginia Beach, have seen some Warlocks (and others) at Hampton, but never Phish. So, I’ve got a question — Phish seem to have a certain affinity for Hampton. Why is that? Any ideas?

Stamos October 1, 2008 at 12:34 pm

Because it seats 7500 people and so only the best and brights can attend.

Matt October 1, 2008 at 12:51 pm

Is that all it is? Really? Purely a size issue?

I had hoped for some more transcendent explanation — or, at least some good trivia, ala the Warlocks.

Stamos October 1, 2008 at 12:53 pm

Why does Panic love Red Rocks? Why did the Allman Brothers love the Fillmore? Some bands just like some places. Hell- Panic always crushes it in Raleigh because the crowd is so rowdy.

Bronce October 2, 2008 at 9:39 am

having seen the boys twice in Hampton (98, 99), it does seem to have quite a different feel to it than any other show. In 98 the crowd was quite rowdy and got the wave going before the show, hence the “Rock and Roll pt 2″ that started off “Hampton Comes Alive”.

Lets just make sure we all get tickets.

Whooooo!!! Some of us knew this was coming but I didn’t expect an announcement this early. Phish announcement and (most likely) an Xmas Jam announcement in the same month..

Let’s just hope we can get a couple of tanks on the room again!

Tom October 3, 2008 at 8:21 pm

Tanks a lot!
