Johnny Depp is set to make approxiamately $61 million for reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean.
At first that number kind of pissed me off. I mean, who deserves $61 million for a few months work? So ridiculous. If it was any other actor, I would still be pissed … but it’s my boy JD. I’ve had his back since 21 Jump Street, and if some studio suits are willing to write that check, who am I to judge him for cashing it?
The article also mentions that this paycheck will move him ahead of Will Smith as the highest earning actor in Hollywood. There’s no reason in hell that Smith should be the highest earning actor in Hollywood. He sucks. Bad. Really bad. I hate him. And his wife, too, as long as I’m being honest. They’re just so smug. And they’re friends with Tom Cruise and his brain washed hussy of a wife, which means they’re bat-shit crazy, too. They can all go to hell.
