Land Diving Is Not For Weak

by C. Brahkowski on November 25, 2008

I saw this on the Travel channel last night. These are some brahs from the Bunlap aboriginal tribe on the Vanuatu Island somewhere out in the Pacific, probably pretty close to where Jack, Kate and Hurley have been kicking it for a few months.

They jump off a tower made of bamboo from heights of up to 80 feet with vines tied to their ankles, landing so close they often get dirt on their domes.

This ancient feat is considered a rite of passage. I guarantee these dudes Do the Dew.
