Via Mr. Ovies at 850 comes the news that Russell Wilson, purported second savior of Wolfpack football over the past few years, has been named first team All-ACC at the quarterback position. This news is awesome on a number of levels, but most noteworthy because he’s the first freshman to ever achieve such an honor.
Wilson received 106 out of a potential 134 votes and while we all bow down at the alter of the guy who could rally get the TOB era rolling, we also patiently await the Injury Gods’ latest blow to our football team.
