One athlete seems to get more play here at Brahsome than any other consistantly, and that man is John Daly. Whether he’s hitting driver off a tall boy, chain smoking heat-sticks on the links, or just blackfacing at the local Hooters, John embodies all things Brahsome. It’s actually something of a shame our little header didn’t include him somehow- is Manny Ramirez really more Brahsome than Juan Daly? But that’s an argument we’ll have to settle next year sometime. Like around the time that Daly’s allowed on the PGA tour again (that’s right- we’ll buy and sell segues up in this bitch). According to Sir John, he’s been given the boot for six months for, among other things, having to spend a night in a Winson-Salem correctional facility while he sobered up. That will give him plenty of time to enjoy the finer things in life off the course- namely chain-smoking, eating wingies, and hanging out with chicks who dropped out of ECU in the early 90s. Living the dream.

John what the hell happened this time? I followed you around at Laurel Valley in Ligonier, Pa. for 1 round (I got a free pass from one of the caddies). Now I’m in a wheelchair (left leg amputee) and not sure if I’ll ever play the game I love sooo much again. I’m also a chain smoker and was once was a recovering alcoholic (had over 15 years sober). Since my health problems 1st heart attack at 39, 2nd at 42, quadruple heart by-pass at 45 then my left leg cut off below the kneecap, I begun to appreciate how short life is and how much pleasure I had playing golf, and having an OCCASIONAL drink, whiskey was always my downfall, I could get very angry when I drank whiskey.
