Boylan Bridge Brewpub officially opens its doors today in Raleigh after many years of planning and preparation. Much as Western Lanes is the bowling home of Brahsome, the Brew Pub will be our bar home. The proprietors are long time friends of Brahsome and started brewing beer many years ago in their own home. They also own a cabinet shop, located below the Pub, and much of the bar and cabinetry work was done with their own hands. I’ve seen it from the outside and it looks amazing.
As the name indicates, they brew their own beer on site visible from the bar through glass doors, offering an industrial ‘feel’ with stainless steel materials throughout. The Brewpub is located in the historic Boylan Heights neighborhood located at 201 South Boylan Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27603. Doors open at 3:00 today and I will be there as soon as I can slip out of work.

I’ve had the pleasure of already sampling the product, and shit’s nice. The porter (I’m not typically a dark beer guy) is possibly the greatest beer ever made. See you all there.
